Credit Risk Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Assess the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data.
• Monitor the performance of the credit portfolio, identifying trends and potential risks
• Ensure that all credit risk activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Review and update credit risk policies and procedures regularly to reflect changes in the business environment or regulatory landscape.
• Prepare detailed reports on credit risk exposure, including recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
• Work closely with the credit analysis team to evaluate new credit applications and make recommendations on approval or rejection.
• Liaise with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Credit Risk, with 2-3 years of proven experience leading a team, preferably within the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of credit risk management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in credit risk modeling and analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its specific risks.
• Fluent in English is a MUST.
