Data Engineer Specialist

Our client in Multinational TPA Insurance looking for Data Engineer Specialist Based in Jakarta, with requirements below:

Responsibilities:

1. Data infrastructure design and development

• Design, develop, and maintain modern data pipelines, data warehouses, and data
• lakes using Snowflake and Azure Data Services.
• Architect data solutions leveraging DBT for data transformation and Azure Data
• Factory for pipeline orchestration.
• Utilize cloud-native data services, including Azure Storage, to optimize data management and scalability.
• Implement and automate data quality checks using tools like DBT tests.

2. Data governance and performance optimization

• Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage, and metadata management processes.
• Establish and enforce data access controls, data security measures, and privacy protocols.
• Implement data retention and archival strategies in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system performance and resource utilization.

3. Documentation, training, and continuous improvement

• Document technical specifications, processes, and guidelines related to data infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend innovative solutions to improve data infrastructure and processes.
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Bachelors or graduate degree in computer engineering, mathematics, data science, or related disciplines.
• Experience using the following software/tools:
• Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-based data services.
• Data modeling and transformation tools like DBT.
• ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or Informatica.
• Knowledge of APIs and data integration strategies.
• Relevant certifications in Azure Data Services or Snowflake are a plus.
