About the role

This is a full-time role as an EXPORT-IMPORT specialist based in North Jakarta, Jakarta. As part of the team at PT NEWLIFE HEALTHCARE INTERNATIONAL, you will play a key role in managing the companys import and export operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and compliance with all relevant regulations.

What youll be doing

  • Coordinate the import and export of products, including preparing all necessary documentation

  • Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely movement of goods

  • Ensure all import and export activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to the import and export functions

  • Identify opportunities to optimise the companys import and export processes and procedures

  • Provide support and guidance to other team members on import and export-related matters

What were looking for

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in an import/export or customs-related role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

  • Thorough understanding of import and export regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other external partners

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues quickly

  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in the import/export process

  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach
