Fashion Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Draw, design, and develop new clothing samples, and create and turn in documentation worksheets.

2. Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.

3. Work with production to see if the design is feasible.

4. Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design.

5. Work with pattern makers and sample rooms to ensure fit, quality, and construction standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design / Apparel Design.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in fashion design.

3. Able to use basic design tools ( Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop) and experience with CAD tools is a plus..

4. Fluent in English (spoken and wrotten).

5. Creative and Innovative.

6. Detail oriented.

7. Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles.

8. Strong communication skills.

9. Have good time management, ability to work in team, honest, and discipline.
