Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Controller to oversee the companys financial health, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and optimizing processes across key financial functions. This role will manage Profit & Loss (P&L), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), claims, and invoicing processes. The Finance Controller will report directly to senior management and lead the Finance & Accounting team to ensure compliance, efficiency, and strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Provide accurate financial reports to management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.  

Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)

• Oversee AR and AP processes to ensure timely collection of receivables and efficient payment of obligations.
• Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
• Approve vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs according to company policies.  

Claims & Invoicing

• Ensure all customer and vendor claims are processed accurately and resolved in a timely manner.
• Supervise the invoicing process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to claims and billing.  

Team Management & Process Improvement

• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounting team to ensure high performance and adherence to internal controls.
• Review and improve financial processes, policies, and systems to increase efficiency and reduce risks.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial control roles.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, AR/AP, claims, and invoicing processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
