Head Of Legal & Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Advisory & Corporate Law

• Provide legal advice on internal policies, contracts, partnerships, and corporate strategies.

• Handle legal documents (e.g., financing, loan, vendor/customer agreements).

• Draft corporate legal documents (AGMS, Articles of Association amendments, corporate actions).

• Manage legal risks for projects and business initiatives.

1. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

• Ensure compliance with OJK, BI, PPATK, and multifinance regulations.

• Develop and implement internal compliance programs (SOP, Code of Conduct, AML/CFT, Whistleblowing).

• Prepare regulatory reports to OJK and maintain regulator communications.

1. Dispute & Litigation Management

• Manage legal disputes (criminal/civil), including oversight of external counsel.

• Develop strategies for litigation, arbitration, or mediation with third parties.

1. Policy & Internal Controls

• Develop internal legal and compliance policies.

• Conduct training and awareness programs on legal and business ethics.

• Lead investigations into legal or ethical violations.

1. Leadership & Strategic Support

• Lead the Legal & Compliance team and develop team competencies.

• Support business initiatives, digital innovation, and new product development.

• Participate in Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk Committees (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Law; PERADI certification is a plus.

• 8-10 years of experience in legal/compliance, preferably in multifinance, banking, or financial services.

• Strong knowledge of financing law, OJK regulations, consumer protection, AML, and Code of Conduct.

• Experienced in dealing with regulators, external counsel, and consultants.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).
