As the Head of Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving brand presence and sales performance through strategic trade marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing impactful trade marketing strategies, leading a high-performing team, and fostering strong relationships with key trade partners. Your work will directly influence in-store execution, consumer engagement, and the overall success of the brand in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement integrated trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and brand objectives.
Plan, manage, and monitor trade marketing budgets effectively to ensure optimal ROI.
Lead the execution of in-store marketing programs and ensure consistent implementation across all sales channels.
Evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on performance insights and market trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers.
Lead, coach, and manage a team of trade marketing professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of trade initiatives.
Utilize CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and market research data to inform strategic decisions and campaign improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is preferred.
8-10 years of progressive experience in trade marketing within the FMCG industry.
Proven success in designing and implementing high-impact trade marketing strategies and campaigns.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to derive actionable insights from market and sales data.
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational capabilities, with attention to detail and timelines.
Effective negotiation and influencing skills in dealing with both internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency in CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and knowledge of market research methodologies.
