Industrial Relations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement industrial relations strategies to maintain a harmonious work environment across tenant companies.
Serve as the primary liaison between management, employee representatives, unions, and government labor agencies.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all tenant operations.
Manage dispute resolution processes, including grievance handling, mediation, and arbitration support.
Monitor labor trends and proactively address potential issues to minimize business disruptions.
Provide guidance and training on industrial relations practices to park management and tenant HR teams.
Oversee collective bargaining processes and ensure outcomes are aligned with organizational and legal standards.
Support crisis management planning and response related to labor matters.
Maintain proper documentation of IR matters and prepare reports for senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field (Masters degree is a plus).
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in industrial relations, preferably in industrial estate/park environments or manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to manage union relationships and collective bargaining processes.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including corporate clients, tenant companies, and government agencies.
