The Integrated Sales Manager is responsible for developing and sustaining strategic partnerships with Global Key Clients, positioning Maersk as their preferred logistics partner. This role drives business growth by combining world-class account management, proactive business development, and consultative selling to deliver exceptional value and strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Detailed understanding of the customers supply chain strategy and needs
- Understand of our position vs. the competitors landscape
- Develop a joint strategic roadmap with the customer and internal stakeholders
- Develop strong network with key customers stakeholders
- Develop Maersk value propositions with the customers
- Provide input to Global product teams and Vertical on value propositions
- Create, Manage and Inspire the global network through proper Account Planning methodology
Customer
- Connect the organization with customer organization through proper Stakeholders Management matrix
- Connect internally with the global Maersk network to rally support and involve specific internal stakeholders
Selling
- Hunt and Identify business opportunities in alignment with the defined roadmap and commercial objectives
- Lead sales pursuits (especially Global opportunities) as per defined sales process
- Ensure that Value Propositions are tailor-made to customer needs
Delivering
- Deliver performance in line with agreed KPI and Budget specifics
- Ensure the overall account team is compliant with NNC guidelines
We are looking for
- More than 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in a global role
- A Sales professional with a proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning large scale opportunities, preferably in the Lifestyle industry
- Preferably from a Freight-forwarding background
- Able to identify opportunities for strategic partnership
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
- Experienced with Senior/C-Level management
- Significant experience in International Supply Chain
- Highly developed consultative selling approach, persuasiveness and influencing skills
- Possesses self-starter qualities, independence and agility
