Job Title: IT Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description:

• Actively monitor the security of systems and infrastructure for the used car sales website to detect potential security threats, cyberattacks, or suspicious activities.
• Respond to and manage security incidents promptly and effectively, including conducting thorough investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Perform regular security analysis and apply security patches and enhancements to ensure system reliability and integrity against evolving cyber threats.
• Collaborate with development and management teams to identify and evaluate security risks, and provide recommendations and input on information security policies to safeguard the platform against potential threats.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IT security, network infrastructure, or related roles.
• Strong understanding and experience with Firewall technologies (Palo Alto, F5).
• Proficient in Web Application Firewall (WAF) tools such as Akamai and F5.
• Good knowledge of API security, proxy configurations, and security system management.
• Experience with load balancing solutions and networking concepts (routing & switching).
• Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment and Active Directory administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk mitigation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
