Job Overview

Nibs Frozen Yoghurt, Acai, Smoothies is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Smoothies Specialist to craft delicious, high-quality smoothies while delivering exceptional customer service. The Smoothies Specialist will prepare smoothies according to brand standards, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Smoothie Preparation: Prepare smoothies, acai bowls, and other menu items with precision, following Nibs recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.

• Customer Service: Engage with customers to take orders, offer recommendations, and ensure a welcoming and friendly experience.

• Ingredient Management: Monitor and restock ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage to maintain quality and minimize waste.

• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, adhering to food safety regulations and store hygiene standards.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and assist with tasks such as restocking and cleaning as needed.

• Upselling and Promotions: Promote menu specials, loyalty programs, and add-ons to enhance customer experience and boost sales.

• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and clean blenders, juicers, and other equipment, reporting any maintenance needs to the store manager.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in food preparation or customer service, preferably in a café, juice bar, or quick-service restaurant, is a plus but not required.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of smoothies.

• Customer Focus: Friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and support team members during peak hours.

• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling repetitive tasks such as blending and chopping.

• Food Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety practices. Certification in food handling is a plus.

• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of smoothie, acai, or health-focused food preparation.

• Familiarity with dietary preferences (e.g., vegan, gluten-free) to assist customers with special requests.

• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
