Marketing Executive (Shipping & Barge Industry)

PT Kevin Shipping, a leading barge and tugboat service provider in Indonesia, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our team. This role focuses on expanding our client base, managing charter contracts, and promoting our fleet services in the maritime logistics sector.

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote barge/tongkang charter services (Time Charter/Freight Charter).

• Identify and engage potential clients in industries such as coal, mining, palm oil, and bulk cargo logistics.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and port operators.

• Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender documents for barge charter contracts.

• Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and competitor activities.

• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure vessel availability aligns with client demands.

• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to expand business opportunities.

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Maritime Studies, or related fields.

• Min. 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in Tug and Barge

• Strong negotiation and communication skills (English proficiency is a plus).

• Understanding of barge operations, chartering terms (TC/FC), and maritime logistics.

• Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Willingness to travel for client meetings as needed.
