Job PurposeServes as a teacher and is responsible for:

• All aspects of both academic and non-academic quality, including learning quality, student achievement, student welfare and safety, hygienic environment, personal development and schools events management

• Supporting the Principal in the delivery of strategic and operational objectives of SPM

Person SpecificationsEDUCATION

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Math Education, Natural Science Education or related fields

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years experience in teaching Math for Primary Students

• Minimum 2 years experience of implementing Cambridge Curriculum and other International Curriculum is an advantage

• Experience in handling students with varied learning abilities

KNOWLEDGE AND CHARACTER

• 7 Habits

• Deeply understanding of teaching in Cambridge Curriculum. Other International curriculum is an advantage

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Good in English both written and oral

• Has excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

• Has the willingness to improve and learn continuously

• Has good classroom management and strong analytical skill in teaching

• Is able to build and manage relationship with colleagues, team, and parents

• Is able to manage multiple priorities and handle unexpected situations professionally and successfully

• Is able to put effective and efficient system in place and produce accurate and timely reporting

• Is familiar with technology (computer-literate)

• Is creative, passionate, enthusiastic, warm, and approachable

• Is able to meet work deadlines and manage conflicting priorities (grasp of Franklin Coveys 7 Habits)
