Modern Trade Operations Assistant Manager
The MT Operations Assistant Manager plays a critical role in the sales department, focusing on enhancing the companys presence in the modern trade market. This position requires an individual who is not only skilled in sales and marketing but also possesses extensive knowledge of market dynamics within Indonesia. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to drive sales initiatives and nurture key relationships with retail partners.
Job DescriptionDevelop and implement strategic promotional and trade marketing programs tailored for the modern trade sector.
Analyze sales data and forecast demand trends to support decision-making processes.
Utilize ERP systems and analytical tools to streamline sales processes and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of plans and strategies across national and regional levels.
Engage effectively with key accounts and retail partners, ensuring strong relationships and maximizing sales opportunities.
Coach and lead team members to enhance their performance and develop their skills.
Monitor inventory management processes and distribution logistics to optimize supply chain effectiveness.
Maintain a thorough understanding of trade regulations and pricing policies to ensure compliance and strategic advantage.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or marketing within the modern trade sector, specifically focusing on the modern trade market in Indonesia.
Experienced with promotional strategies and data analysis.
Technical/Functional Skills:
In-depth understanding of the modern trade market structure and dynamics in Indonesia.
Proficient in planning and executing promotional and trade marketing programs.
Skilled in sales data analysis and forecasting.
Experienced in using ERP systems and analytical tools such as SAP, Oracle, Power BI, and advanced Excel & PPT.
Familiarity with supply chain, distribution, and inventory management processes in modern trade.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
Strong leadership capability alongside effective coaching and team management.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with key accounts and retail partners.
Target-oriented with strong problem-solving attitude and quick decision-making abilities.
Able to foster collaboration across departments and work effectively with national and regional teams.
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
Intermediate to fluent in English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel to various modern trade operational areas.
Able to drive a car and has an A Drivers License (SIM A).
A solid understanding of national trade regulations and pricing policies.
