Operational Tech Lead

Role Overview:

The Tech Lead (Operation) will oversee all technical and operational functions within the organization, ensuring smooth execution of services, optimization of processes, and alignment with business objectives. The role requires a strong understanding of the technical environment and the ability to lead complex system integrations, maintenance, and reporting aligned with regulatory and business needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:

• Lead and manage the technical operations team, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.

• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the organizations technical environment.

  2. Infrastructure and Network Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and network systems.

• Manage the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.

• Monitor and optimize network performance, addressing latency, bandwidth, and security challenges.

• Implement disaster recovery and high-availability solutions to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with vendors for infrastructure and network enhancements or issue resolutions

  3. Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define the operational strategy and align technical functions with business goals.

• Identify and prioritize technical initiatives that enhance the organizations core systems and compliance.

  4. System and Process Management:

• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of Alibaba Cloud services.

• Manage the Core System - Consumer Finance System (CONFINS R3).

• Ensure seamless integration between the Core System and General Ledger (GL).

• Supervise regulatory reporting tools, ensuring compliance with OJK Multifinance Business Rules. o Manage the Ticketing Management System

  5. Team Development:

• Recruit, train, and mentor technical staff, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

• Evaluate team performance and implement improvement plans where needed.

  6. Risk and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Develop risk management strategies to minimize operational disruptions.

  7. Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical operations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide regular updates to leadership on operational performance and issues.

  8. Budget and Resource Management:

• Plan and manage the technical operations budget.

• Optimize the allocation of resources to achieve operational goals within budgetary constraints.

  9. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive innovation and process improvement initiatives across the technical operations. o Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge

Qualifications

1. Educational Background:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

  2. Experience:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in technical operations, system maintenance, or related fields.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale technical teams and projects.

• Background in implementing operational excellence and continuous improvement strategies.

  3. Technical Expertise:

• Environment: ▪ Proficient in Alibaba Cloud services (e.g., RDS with PostgreSQL, ECS, etc.). ▪ Core System - Consumer Finance System (CONFINS R3): ▪ General Ledger (GL) Financial System: ▪ Regulatory Report Generation for OJK (Financial Services Authority of Indonesia): ▪ SLIK (Monthly Report - Debtor & Facility). ▪ SIPP (Monthly Report - Financial Company Report). ▪ Ticketing Management System: ▪ Internal ticketing for operational incidents, service requests, and infrastructure issues. ▪ Incident escalation communication to vendors (via JIRA).

  4. Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation.

• Leadership and team management skills, including experience in mentoring and team development. o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  5. Certifications (Optional):

• ITIL, PMP, or similar technical certifications preferred.

• Certifications in network and infrastructure management (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, AWS, Alibaba Cloud). o Industry-specific certifications (e.g., CONFINS R3 training) are a plus.
