Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering for Loss Adjuster (Natural Resources)
Reporting to the head of Natural Resources Division, the Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering for Loss Adjuster (Natural Resources) investigates insurance claims on behalf of the insurer. Upon receiving claim instructions, the primary responsibility will be to investigate the loss and assess whether the damage or loss falls under the insurance policys coverage.
ResponsibilitiesTo carry out survey/inspection of damages particular occurring within the Natural Resources industries to ascertain, nature, circumstances and extent of damage sustained.
To prepare concise, comprehensive reports in a timely manner, adhering to the guidelines set out by the company.
To be available for surveys outside regular working hours, including weekends and public holidays as and when required.
Candidate possesses a degree (at least Bachelors) in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering, preferably from overseas university (degree taught in English).
Minimum three (3) year loss adjusting experience.
Possess previous experience in a Natural Resources industry (Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, Renewables) or exposure during loss adjusting.
Possess in depth understanding of Natural Resources industry operations, including oil and gas infrastructure and/or power generation facilities and/or mining and/or renewable energy systems.
Highly proficient in English, reflected by IELTS score 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100 or TOEFL PBT 600
Prepared to work as a team, willing to travel throughout Indonesia particularly in remote area and work in flexi-time hours.
Computer Literate, willing to work under tight deadline and adapt to desk-bound and remote working scheme.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, dynamic, and proactive.
