Production Supervisor

About the role

PT Interpak Industries Batam is seeking a highly organised and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. As a contract role, this position will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for leading a team of production workers and coordinating all aspects of the manufacturing process.

What youll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to meet output targets and quality standards

2. Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery to maximise productivity and minimise downtime

3. Monitor and report on production data, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks

4. Provide coaching, training and performance management to production workers to continuously improve skills and efficiency

5. Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of production with supply chain, quality control and maintenance

What were looking for

1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle issues quickly and effectively

4. Proficient in analysing production data and implementing process improvements

5. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

6. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and safety regulations

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
