Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. Apple is looking for a Business Transformation Lead to drive complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional execution capabilities who can navigate ambiguous business challenges and deliver measurable results.
The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with strong leadership skills to invent and orchestrate large-scale organizational change. You will partner with numerous cross functional business and project teams to dive into various work streams to solve hard problems by to identifying bottlenecks, designing scalable solutions, and leading initiatives from concept to measurable outcomes. Your functional scope will include FP&A and Sales Finance process transformation, end-to-end demand generation, promo planning and tracking, etc.
Regular international travel is required, as in-person collaboration is critical to understanding local workflows and ensuring practical, scalable process design. Additionally, flexibility to work across different time zones to support, and collaborate with globally distributed stakeholders is essential. Description
1. Lead End-to-End Transformation Initiatives:
- Own the Outcome: Take full ownership of assigned transformation projects from initial diagnosis through to successful implementation and handover to the business.
- Structure the Ambiguous: Rapidly scope complex business problems, define project goals and success metrics, and develop a structured, actionable plan for execution.
- Problem Diagnosis: Lead deep-dive analyses—conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, mapping processes, and analyzing data—to identify root causes and quantify opportunities.
2. Design & Implement Future-state Solutions:
- Solution Architecture: Co-design innovative future-state solutions that encompass changes to process, policy, organizational structure, and technology.
- Execution Management: Drive the day-to-day execution of the project plan, proactively identifying risks, managing dependencies, and resolving roadblocks with urgency.
- Results Measurement: Establish a clear framework for measuring the impact and ROI of the transformation, tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on results.
3. Masterful Stakeholder Management & Influence:
- Build Coalitions: Forge strong, trust-based relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization to ensure buy-in and alignment.
- Lead
Through Influence: Guide and motivate cross-functional project teams, many of whom will not report to you directly. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Communicate with Impact: Serve as the central communication hub for your initiative, delivering clear, concise, and compelling updates to executive sponsors and project teams.
4. Champion Change Adoption:
- Change Management Strategy: Develop and execute a robust change management plan to prepare the organization for transformation, addressing potential resistance and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Enable the Business: Ensure that once the project is complete, the business is fully equipped and enabled to operate in the new way, with clear documentation, training, and support models in place.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, business transformation, or strategic operations roles
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives with measurable business impact within the Sales or Sales Finance domain
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive high-performing teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Deep understanding of organizational change principles and methodologies (ex: Kotters 8-Step, Lippitt-Knoster, Systems Thinking)
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Experience with process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking)
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Knowledge of enterprise systems and technology transformation concepts
