Sales Engineer

About the roleWe are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our growing team at PT. TRAS ENERGI SOLUSI in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our company by proactively engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. What youll be doing

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by actively prospecting and networking with potential clients

• Conducting thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points

• Presenting and demonstrating our products and services to clients, highlighting the unique value proposition

• Preparing detailed proposals and quotations that address client needs effectively

• Negotiating contract terms and closing sales to meet or exceed revenue targets

• Providing post-sales support and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction

What were looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the manufacturing machining industries

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of technical engineering-related products and services

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience

• Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-centric approach

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal
