Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Client: Our client is a globally recognized financial services group with an established IT hub in Singapore supporting mission-critical systems for capital markets. They are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their technology team and drive automation and reliability across the development and deployment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate CI/CD pipelines and support environment provisioning
• Manage and maintain development, testing, and production environments
• Develop tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and system operations
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure engineers to ensure smooth delivery
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions for system performance
• Participate in root cause analysis and proactively resolve issues
• Document processes and contribute to DevOps best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles
• Strong background in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with scripting languages: Python, Shell, PowerShell
• Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux environments and relational databases
• Familiarity with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, MQ, and Elastic Search
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration
• Background in financial systems or capital markets is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
