Senior Executive (Healthcare Reserve Force Plans)

What the role is

The Healthcare Reserve Force (HRF) is a volunteer force which will support MOHs disease outbreak response operations, with the flexibility to reinforce operations for other emergencies.

Under the HRF, the volunteers will be trained for and involved in non-clinical, and non-front facing roles to support MOH operational teams responding to disease outbreaks.

What the role is?

You will be responsible for the development of reinforcement strategies to enhance organisational capacity and resilience. The role involves assessing current organisational capacity and identifying areas for augmentation during a crisis. It also includes the development of a HRF and reinforcement build-up plan that seeks to identify potential sources and pipelines to ensure a continuous source of volunteers.

You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What you will be working on

1. Assist to develop and execute strategic plans for reinforcement management and align initiatives with organisational goals, which includes:• Developing and implementing a HRF build-up plan and training schedules;• Developing and implementing reinforcement plans with appropriate activation sequences; and• Developing and implementing a mobilisation plan for call up in times of crises.

2. Assist in the pivot to crisis role in times of emergency which includes:• Collaborating with agencies on the activation of the HRF; and• Coordinating the operations deployment of the HRF.

What we are looking for

Requirements:• Strong ability to evaluate content and synthesise information to execute solutions that support the divisions goals• Knowledge of public health policies, infectious disease controls, and outbreak response protocols will be an advantage• Experience in lesson planning and delivering training programmes is an advantage• Experience in social media content development, management and analytics• Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure situations and demonstrate crisis management skills
