Senior Mine Engineer
Job Descriptions:
Develop short-term mine plans (daily, weekly, and monthly) based on pit designs and production targets.
Design and adjust mining sequences, haul road alignments, and disposal locations to ensure safe and efficient equipment movement.
Analyze actual production data (cutting, hauling, dumping) and compare it with the plan to evaluate field performance.
Design haul roads, disposal areas, stockpiles, and adjust pit limits based on field conditions and mining progress.
Design and adjust mining sequences, haul road alignments, and disposal locations to ensure safe and efficient equipment movement.
Plan equipment requirements and estimate operating hours to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
Propose alternative production scenarios in response to field constraints such as weather, equipment breakdown, or layout changes.
Supervise the implementation of mine designs in the field, including compliance with direction of work, safety berms, and pit slope
Prepare daily and monthly technical reports, including variance explanations and improvement recommendations.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mine Engineer in a coal mining contractor environment, with strong involvement in short-term mine planning and daily production control.
Skilled in developing short-term mine plans (daily, weekly, monthly) and adjusting pit layouts, sequences, haul roads, and disposal areas based on actual field conditions.
Proficient in using mining software such as Minescape, Surpac, X-Pac, or other relevant software.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of providing practical solutions under field pressure.
Confident in giving technical instructions in the field and responding quickly to unexpected conditions (e.g., rain, breakdown, material changes).
