Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

As a Warehouse Supervisor at PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse facility in Sidoarjo, East Java. This full-time position will involve leading a team of warehouse associates to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Role and Responsibilities :

1. Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching of goods

2. Monitoring inventory levels and stock rotation to minimize losses and maintain optimal stock levels

3. Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organized and compliant with all health and safety regulations

4. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

5. Providing training and support to the warehouse team to develop their skills and knowledge

6. Generating and analyzing performance reports to track key metrics and inform decision making

7. Collaborating with other departments to streamline logistics and distribution operations

Responsibilities :

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

2. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and priorities effectively

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team

4. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Ms. Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

5. Familiarity with inventory management principles and best practices

6. A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement

7. Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain or a related field would be an advantage
