Senior Principal

WHAT YOULL DO

As part of your role as a Principal for the CEO & Board Practice (APAC),  you will be responsible for:

Business Development

  • Develop and manage trusting client partnerships at HR and C-Suite level across a variety of industries, either as a member of a key account team or by directly managing accounts for smaller clients.
  • Contribute to winning profitable business by proposal writing, pricing, shaping opportunities, pitch preparation and opportunity spotting in clients.

Project Execution

Drive the execution for multiple CEO & Board Progression projects simultaneously, which may span multiple service lines and typically involve managing multiple consultants from other service lines/countries.

This will include:

  • Collaborate in project teams consisting of high performing members with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to deliver meaningful, long-term impact to our clients based on thorough and fact-based analyses.
  • Independently manage small assessment projects, including resource planning, drafting and implementing plans, briefing colleagues, and managing the Project Management Offices involvement.
  • Support and / or lead Enterprise Leadership (C-suite level) assessments, feedback & development; collect and interpret assessment data (Leadership Dialogues, 360 Feedback, Online Psychometrics), write integrated assessment reports, deliver assessment feedback and develop real-time coaching capability to support identification of strengths and key gaps to close.
  • Support Board Progression reviews, collect and interpret data (Dialogues with Board Members, Online Survey), write Board Progression review reports, present findings to the Board to support identification of strengths of Boards and key gaps to close.

CEO & Board Practice Building

  • Identify client and market trends, collate and distribute research/analysis and participate in methodology development activities to contribute to internal CEO & Board practice development.
  • Design and develop CEO & Board practice-related materials, such as Enterprise Leadership dialogue and 360 feedback guides, report templates, and briefing packs to contribute to high quality assessment work.
  • Take an active role in guiding & mentoring junior members in the CEO & Board practice.
  • Champion the desired culture and environment of the CEO & Board Practice.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Typically a relevant higher (Masters or Doctorate) degree plus (+8 years) relevant work experience in a consultancy and/or a client HR function. Alternatively, significant work experience (+10 years) in a top tier professional services firm.
  • Is recognised as a go-to person in a defined ‘major discipline and is able to scope, design and deliver non-standard solutions to meet client needs. Able to lead core service line work activities with large, complex and/or important clients.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of clients/industries supported and apply business offerings at the senior level.
