Job description

Solution Architect will be responsible to create the overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem. This role will be in-charge to design, describe, and manage the solution. In many ways, this role builds the bridge between a business problem and the technology solution and outlines each of the phases and requirements required to make that solution work.

Key responsibilites

• Building and integrating information systems to meet the client/organizations needs.
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with the technical team to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Resolving technical problems as arise.
• Providing supervision and guidance to development teams.
• Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.
• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.

Prerequisites

• Bachelors degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Have 5+ years of experience in engineering and software architecture design.
• Previous Tech Lead experience is advantageous.
• Familiar with microservice architecture.
• Sound knowledge of various cloud infrastructure.
• Efficient communication skills.
