Sous Chef

About the role

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at PT. Dinosaurus Bali Investments in Tabanan, Bali. As our Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. This is a full-time position based in our beautiful Tabanan, Bali location.

What youll be doing

• Assisting the Head Chef in the planning and execution of daily menu items

• Supervising and coordinating the work of line cooks to ensure efficient kitchen operations

• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and sanitation

• Providing training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff

• Monitoring inventory and placing orders for kitchen supplies

• Adhering to all applicable food safety and health regulations

What were looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in 5star or in a similar culinary leadership role

• Formal culinary training or certification, such as a degree in Culinary Arts

• Expertise in a variety of cooking techniques and the ability to prepare a wide range of dishes

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle kitchen challenges

• Excellent communication and team management abilities

• Passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients and a commitment to food safety

• Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
