Spa Trainer

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the spa and massage industry, with at least 3 years as a spa or massage trainer.

• Strong understanding of hospitality standards and ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

• Able to develop detailed SOPs and training modules in both English and Bahasa, including: body anatomy, massage techniques, service flow & guest handling, communication, visual documentation (step-by-step photos & videos).

• Skilled in quality control (QC) of therapists performance, ensuring technique, pressure, and flow meet the standards.

• Willing to act as a massage model during training sessions to evaluate accuracy and guest comfort.

• Familiar with the process of certifying therapists (BNSP, CIDESCO, or other recognized institutions).

• Ability to create treatment menus and design unique spa experiences.

• Good understanding of international hygiene and sanitation standards in spa operations.

Additional Advantages:

• Skills in other spa services such as: Facials (manual and machine-based), Hair Spa, Manicure & Pedicure

• Certification as a trainer or assessor is a strong plus.

• Proven track record working in luxury spas, premium wellness centers, or five stars hotel spas.
