Tax and Custom Specialist (Assistant Manager)

Job Description Summary :

Ensure tax strategy execution and compliance across DS ID Bus and monitor tax liabilities and drive tax optimization in DS ID Bus.

Job Description :

• Monitor compliance of BU-specific activities to tax strategy, policies and resolutions

• Support Group Tax in defining tax strategy and policies related to DS; Monitor and review tax liabilities/restitution regularly ; Advise BU related to tax and customs matters, e.g. tax impact of certain trade flows proposed, Submit and get approval for tax and custom application/renewal

• Monitor compliance of bonded zone operations and reporting

• Analyze optimization opportunity from custom perspective

• Follow up escalations related to bonded zone and custom matters

• Provide ad-hoc decision support related to tax and customs (e.g. opening new bonded zone)

• Socialize tax and custom updates to appropriate PIC

• Analyze optimization opportunity from tax perspective.

Job Requirement :

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Law, or a related field; Tax certification (Brevet A & B) preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in taxation and customs, ideally within a manufacturing or trading company.

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and bonded zone operations; experience with tax/customs optimization and compliance.

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to communicate tax/customs issues effectively to internal stakeholders and authorities.
