Telemarketing Agent

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a persuasive and customer-focused Telemarketing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will connect with potential customers who have shown interest by completing our online forms. Your responsibilities include making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and updating customer records. You will play a vital role in supporting our sales goals while ensuring a professional and positive experience for every customer.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make outbound calls to warm leads from online campaigns.

• Receive inbound calls and assist potential customers with inquiries.

• Explain product/service features clearly and confidently.

• Schedule appointments and follow up with potential customers.

• Maintain accurate and updated customer records in the CRM system.

• Meet or exceed daily and monthly call and conversion targets.

• Handle customer objections with professionalism and problem-solving.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in telemarketing, customer service, or sales.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable working with targets and KPIs.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service and/or sales environment.

• Previous experience in insurance, telesales or sales, and customer service are preferred.

• Willing and able to work in shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
