Trading Bot Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy algorithmic trading bots for crypto, forex, equities, or other financial markets.
  • Integrate with exchange APIs (e.g., Binance, Bybit, Interactive Brokers).
  • Implement trading strategies based on backtested data and live market signals.
  • Optimize performance, latency, and reliability of bots.
  • Collaborate with product and quant teams to iterate on strategy design and execution.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live bots for real-time performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Rust, C++, or Go.
  • Experience with trading systems, order execution, or market-making bots.
  • Familiarity with exchange APIs, WebSocket streams, and FIX protocols.
  • Understanding of financial markets and trading principles.
  • Experience with backtesting frameworks and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience building bots for crypto or high-frequency trading (HFT).
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning or AI-driven strategies.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) or Kubernetes.
  • Open-source contributions or personal trading bot projects.
