UI/UX Designer (Remote)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative UI/UX Designer with 4-5 years of experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing impactful design work within the education or EdTech industry and be passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences for learners and educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and educators to design intuitive user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile platforms.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform and improve design decisions.
• Translate complex educational workflows and content into clear, user-centered designs.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Ensure consistent branding and design language across all digital products.
• Iterate on feedback from users and internal stakeholders to enhance usability.
• Stay updated on UI/UX trends, best practices, and technologies relevant to EdTech.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Experience conducting user research, persona development, and usability testing.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and interaction design principles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey ideas effectively.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX projects, especially within the education domain.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing for online learning platforms.
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Understanding of LMS (Learning Management Systems) or learning experience platforms (LXP) is advantageous.
