Vet Nursery

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Monitor the daily health status of calves and ensure early detection of clinical symptoms, perform daily treatment.

• Oversee colostrum feeding and early nutrition to support optimal calf development.

• Implement vaccination and preventive treatment programs according to SOP and schedule.

• Conduct health examinations and collect lab samples to support disease diagnosis.

• Accurately record and report calf health data on a regular basis.

• Train nursery staff in calf handling, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols.

• Manage inventory and usage of veterinary supplies, including drugs, vaccines, and equipment.

• Coordinate with breeding and lactation teams to ensure smooth calf transition from birth to weaning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold a professional degree in Veterinary Medicine (S.KH)

• Genuine interest in handling large animals, particularly young ruminants such as calves.

• Basic knowledge of veterinary drugs and treatments, especially those used in ruminant health and neonatal care.

• Previous experience assisting with ruminant births or recovery from illness is highly preferred.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, especially those with internship experience in large animal practice or calf care.

• Must be fast learning and open discussing on every case on the field.
