We are looking for a Brand & Marketing Communications Manager who can significantly introduce Hotel Tugu Bali and its venues to a new generation of Bali residents and travelers, through various creative channels.
The Role
This is not a traditional hotel marketing role.
We are looking for someone who can build awareness, strengthen relevance, create meaningful connections, and ensure Hotel Tugu Bali is recognized as one of Bali's most authentic cultural destinations.
The successful candidate will develop and execute strategies that increase visibility, attract new audiences, strengthen community engagement, generate media attention, and Posisi Hotel Tugu Bali as both a guardian of Bali's heritage and an important part of Bali's contemporary cultural scene.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Awareness & Posisiing
- Develop and execute strategies to increase awareness of Hotel Tugu Bali and its venues across Bali and internationally.
- Strengthen the hotel's Posisiing as one of Bali's leading cultural, heritage, and experiential hospitality destinations.
- Ensure all communications consistently reflect the property's unique identity, stories, collections, architecture, and cultural significance.
- Identify opportunities to increase visibility among both visitors and Bali residents.
Content & Storytelling
- Discover, develop, and communicate the many stories within the property, its collections, traditions, people, and experiences.
- Lead content creation across social media, digital platforms, websites, newsletters, photography, videography, and marketing materials.
- Create engaging content that inspires curiosity, conversation, and word-of-mouth recommendations.
- Manage content calendars and oversee creative production.
Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Build relationships with Bali's creative, entrepreneurial, wellness, hospitality, cultural, and lifestyle communities.
- Develop collaborations that introduce new audiences to Hotel Tugu Bali and its venues.
- Create and support events, activations, workshops, talks, cultural programs, dining experiences, and special celebrations that drive awareness and engagement.
- Posisi the hotel as an active participant in Bali's cultural and community landscape.
Public Relations & Influencer Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, media outlets, content creators, travel advisors, and influencers.
- Secure meaningful media coverage and editorial opportunities.
- Organize media visits, influencer stays, and familiarization experiences.
- Identify opportunities for Hotel Tugu Bali to become part of conversations around Bali's most unique hotels, restaurants, wellness experiences, and cultural destinations.
Digital Marketing & Emerging Channels
- Oversee social media strategy and performance.
- Identify and leverage emerging platforms, channels, and content formats relevant to today's Bali audience.
- Monitor digital performance, audience engagement, and online reputation.
- Work with agencies and partners to support SEO, digital advertising, and online campaigns where appropriate.
Venue Marketing
Drive awareness and visitation for:
- Ji Restaurant Bali
- Iwa Restaurant
- Warong Djamoe Spa
- Guan Yin Yoga Shala
- Cultural experiences and special events
- Seasonal activations and community programs
Performance & Reporting
- Track marketing performance and key brand metrics.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Prepare regular reports and recommendations.
- Manage marketing budgets responsibly and effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, marketing communications, public relations, hospitality marketing, destination marketing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to build brand awareness and generate audience engagement.
- Strong understanding of social media, content creation, PR, influencer marketing, partnerships, and community building.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and culture.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, lifestyle, luxury, wellness, or cultural brands is highly desirable.
- Existing network within Bali's hospitality, media, creative, or lifestyle communities is an advantage.
What Success Looks Like
Within the Berikut. 12–24 months:
- More people in Bali know Hotel Tugu Bali and its venues.
- The property becomes part of the conversation around the most unique places to stay, dine, celebrate, and experience culture in Bali.
- Increased engagement from newer Bali residents and travelers, not only long-time Bali enthusiasts.
- Stronger media presence and influencer engagement.
- Increased visitation to Ji Restaurant Bali, Iwa Restaurant, Warong Djamoe Spa, Guan Yin Yoga Shala, and hotel events.
- Hotel Tugu Bali is increasingly recognized as one of Bali's most authentic and culturally significant hospitality destinations.
