About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Service Manager to lead our service team at The Forge Gastropub Bali', a premier dining and nightlife destination in Badung Bali. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining and nightlife experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing guests' needs in a timely and professional manner
Develop and implement service standards, policies, and procedures to maintain the highest levels of service and efficiency
Collaborate with the culinary and management teams to ensure the smooth integration of front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Monitor and analyse service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting teamwork and professional development
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a service management role, preferably in a high-end restaurant, bar, or nightclub setting
Excellent customer service skills and a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences
Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Proficient in scheduling, inventory management, and data analysis to optimise operations
Thorough understanding of food and beverage service standards, as well as liquor licensing and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
