Accounting Officer

The Account Officer will oversee the financial operations related to mining activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with industry regulations. The role involves maintaining detailed records of financial transactions, handling invoicing, and working closely with project managers to track project costs and revenue. The Account Officer is also responsible for preparing financial reports, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with corporate and government regulations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in the mining sector are essential.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate financial records for all on-site transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile on-site expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Computation & submission of withholding tax including PPH 15,21,23, 4 article 2
• Collect and verify the appropriate documents in submission for approval.
• Process payments to vendors, contractors, and food caterer in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain and manage the on-site cash float responsibly and in compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile cash transactions and ensure accurate recording of cash flow.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to gather financial data and address any accounting-related queries.
• Ensure documents are filled in orderly manner (Bank & Cash payment voucher, Tax report, all report of accounting)

Job Requirements:-

• Bachelors Degree in Finance/ Accountancy / Banking or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in Finance / Accounting in Mining industry
• Understand PPH 4 (2), 22, 25/29 & VAT
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• A strong team player and flexibility in handling different tasks is essential
• Thorough, meticulous and able to complete tasks according to the specified deadline
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skill
• Familiar with accounting software of ACCPAC preferably.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Willing to station at mine site field located at Kalimantan
• Flexible to travel to different sites as required
