Asst Transportation Manager

About the Role

Responsible for planning and controlling the activity of shipping goods to all stores, HOs and to customer locations as well as the arrival of fleets from vendors and between DCs, so that they run according to procedures, on time, safely and according to the predetermined route.

Responsibilities :

• Planning, organizing and evaluating the delivery management process appropriately and effectively, in line with the strategy, system and transportation cost allocation that has been set by the superior, and providing recommendations for improvements in accommodating the supply of goods.
• Controlling the process of sending goods to stores, HOs and customer locations so that it runs smoothly according to the route/lane and schedule that has been determined, and controlling the arrival activities of the fleet both from vendors and between DCs, including ensuring the availability of effective solutions if problems occur during the shipping process (accidents/losses).
• Controlling activities related to the availability, condition, personnel, documents and rules for arranging goods in the fleet, so that according to procedures, the fleet is ready to use and in good condition to support the smooth running of the companys business.
• Directing, motivating, reviewing and assessing the performance of subordinates so that the desired work productivity is achieved, and providing recommendations for effective training programs for development purposes so that the desired competencies can be achieved.
• Prepare K3LL implementation reports in accordance with applicable provisions (to internal and external parties) so that they can be used as evaluation and accountability materials related to K3LL incidents that occur.
• Foster and ensure that subordinate workers including third parties have understood and complied with all applicable occupational safety provisions.

Qualifications :

• Min S1, preferably majoring in Industrial Engineering.
• Min 3 years in the same field and at Managerial level.
• Knowledge and Skill : Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Product Knowledge, HSE Regulation, SAP.
• Willing to go on business trips.
• Placement : DC Jababeka, Cikarang
