Job Description:We are assisting an established interior design and renovation company in their search for a skilled Drafter with experience in interior projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and layouts based on design concepts and site measurements. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and translate design ideas into clear and accurate technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and detailed 2D drawings and layouts for interior design and fit-out projects
  • Coordinate with design and project teams to ensure drawings reflect project requirements and design intent
  • Interpret architectural and interior design concepts into technical drawings and construction documents
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, or site adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
  • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Drafter in interior design or fit-out projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp or other design tools is a plus
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, and furniture details
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings
  • Detail-oriented with strong technical and visualization skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients based in Singapore
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

Preferred:

  • Experience in commercial, retail, or residential interior projects
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization or rendering software is an advantage
