Executive Chef (Expatriate)

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef (Expatriate) to join our team, a leading wellness club in Badung, Bali. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and driving the culinary vision of our prestigious wellness club.

What youll be doing

• Develop and execute innovative menus that showcase your culinary expertise and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests and club members

• Manage and mentor a team of talented chefs, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and adherence to health and safety regulations

• Collaborate with the management team to align the culinary offering with the overall brand and customer experience

• Continuously research food trends and techniques to keep the menus fresh and exciting

• Foster a positive, productive and collaborative kitchen culture

What were looking for

• Culinary bachelors degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts

• Minimum 8 years experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or fine dining restaurant setting

• Demonstrated expertise in various cuisines and cooking techniques

• Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills to effectively lead and develop a team of culinary professionals

• Outstanding creativity and innovative flair

• Thorough knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations and cost control

• Familiarity with the local Balinese culture is highly desirable

• Having a proficiency in both English and Indonesian, particularly at an advanced level, is highly desirable
