Finance Manager

Responsibilities and Duties 

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and manage the companys financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Analyze financial data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

2. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Present financial reports to stakeholders, explaining variances and providing insights into the financial performance of the company.

3. Accounting and Compliance:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.

• Oversee the preparation of tax returns, audits, and other financial compliance matters.

• Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

4. Cash Flow Management:

• Manage cash flow, forecasting cash needs and optimizing cash utilization.

• Monitor banking activities and develop relationships with financial institutions.

5. Financial Operations:

• Supervise day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

• Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy, implementing best practices and automation where applicable.

6. Financial Strategy:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with the companys objectives.

• Assess investment opportunities, evaluate risks, and provide recommendations for financial decisions.

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., Brevet, CPA, CFA) is a plus.

• Proven experience in financial management roles within the financial services industry, preferably in P2P lending or related sectors.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.

• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
