Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team at SALTLICK, a fine dining steakhouse restaurant known for exceptional service and premium quality. The Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and leading a service team with professionalism and passion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily FOH operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the service team to maintain high hospitality standards.
  • Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction through attention to detail and personalized service.
  • Monitor floor activity, table turns, and guest flow to optimize efficiency.
  • Handle guest feedback or complaints with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
  • Ensure adherence to restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and team development.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including interviewing and evaluating new FOH candidates.
  • Contribute to maintaining the fine dining atmosphere and restaurant ambiance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Floor Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service etiquette, and food & beverage.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience in conducting interviews and assessing potential candidates is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 months
