Head of Finance & Accounting

Key Responsibilities

·      Responsible for the Financial and Accounting functions of the company as well as leading a team of Costing staff, Cashier, General Acc & Tax Staff. This includes performing all day-to-day accounting operations of the business, from related F&A administrative tasks to presenting the monthly financial report

·      Business partners to other heads of departments to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions

·      Lead and use ACCURATE and ERP system to manage all finance related business process

·      Develop and implement accounting procedures including maintenance and updating of existing accounting systems and policies

·      Credit control and AR management

·      Controlling and monitoring budget, includes OPEX and COGS

·      P&L Analysis; Sales, COGS, OPEX analysis

·      BS Analysis ratios; CCC, ROI, ITO etc

·      Inventory monitoring, including provisioning of aging inventory and stock take

·      Monthly closing reporting, monitoring and ad-hoc report

·      Prepare regular cash flow projections

·      Prepare annual Budget and regular forecasts

·      Oversee tax compliance, tax planning and tax accounting.

·      Liaise with Group auditors for regular company audits

·      Manage fixed assets and help control of inventory with operations team

·      Make recommendations on buying efficiencies, increasing revenue and cost control (supply chain finance)

·      Knowledge and understanding on commercial finance, eg determine selling price and cost efficiencies (commercial finance)

·      Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities

·      Enhance compliance of applicable laws and regulations

Required Skills and Experience 

·       Bachelors degree (S1) in Accounting/ Management/ Business Administration or other related field

·      At least 10 years of experience in a Senior Finance Manager role, preferably with experience in commercial B2B, distribution, and manufacturing industry

·      Experience in using a widely recognized accounting package such as ACCURATE, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or other ERP systems

·      Strong communication and ability to relate business activities to financial impact and position

·      Ability to handle multiple business setup with different business models and multiple stakeholders

·      Experience reporting to foreign HQ, including handling the audit of reporting package

·      People management experience would be a plus

·      Ability to meet deadlines under pressure

·      Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite

• Able to communicate in English (speak & written)

·      JV partners- BU CEO, Group CFO
