The Job at a GlanceWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role focuses on maintaining efficient HR processes, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and supporting key HR functions such as employee onboarding, record-keeping, and reporting.
Responsibilities HR Operations & ComplianceEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, health & safety standards, and HR best practices.
Assist with internal and external audits related to HR policies and procedures.
Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and compliance training.
Oversee and coordinate HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee data management.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Support performance management processes, including tracking appraisals and goal-setting.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and other HR-related documentation.
Prepare and maintain HR reports on headcount, turnover, and compliance-related metrics.
Ensure all HR documentation is properly maintained and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Required Qualifications and Competencies3+ years of experience in HR operations, HR compliance, or a related function.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Experience with Rippling for HR and payroll functions is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience with payroll systems and benefits administration.
Certification in HR or compliance (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar).
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and HR-related legal frameworks.
Full-time: 40 hours a week, with flexible PTO and healthcare benefits.
Level: Mid-Career, 3-5 years relevant work experience
Location: Remote (offshore, and willing to work Pacific/Eastern hours)
