Legal & Compliance Team Leader
Job Description
- Leading, motivating, and guiding and set the target of the legal and compliance team.
- Creating and maintaining a framework for compliance across all departments
- Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Identify and assess gaps between existing policies and procedures and new regulatory requirements, and recommend necessary adjustments to ensure compliance
- Communicating compliance requirements and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Providing legal advice to other departments on a wide range topic
- Maintain and monitor companys compliance according to Bank Indonesia regulations, PPATK and principal regulations
- Provide assistance to the business and marketing team on commercial negotiations with Banks, principals, payment issuers, payment system partners, merchants and vendors
- Examine the legal issues related to new payment products/features and digital payment innovation
- Prepare, review, and revise any legal documents related to the business and operational
- Liaise with Bank Indonesia, PPATK, public notaries, lawyers, external auditors, and government authorities in relation to corporate matters
- Conduct periodic internal audit and responsible for create the audit framework plan and perform the audit execution and collaborate with a diverse range of businesses and stakeholders to identify continual improvements in all departments
- Ensure that the Companys business and operations are in compliance with applicable regulations
- Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal and compliance role, with proven experience in leading and managing a team.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Peradi Licensed will be an advantage
