Mechanical & Piping Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Analyze our current systems and equipment to determine what areas need improvement.

  • Run tests and experiments to determine the best method of solving current problems, and use your findings to design new, effective systems.

  • Draw up a set of plans for your new design and create an accurate budget and timeframe for the project to present to project managers and any other engineers involved in the project.

  • Ensure that all systems and equipment are in compliance with our safety regulations.

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree in mechanical engineering is required, while a masters degree is preferred

  • Min 5 years experience as Project Engineer or Mechanical & Piping Engineer in oil & gas project

  • Must possess a highly analytical mind that is adept at finding solutions to problems

  • Must be able to clearly communicate ideas to their team and be a strong leader and team player

  • Must be highly skilled with computers and be confident running engineering programs such as CAD, CAM, and Caesar II Piping Stress program

  • Must be able to interpret simulations and test data gathered

  • Duration of contract until December 31, 2025
