Operational Manager (Restaurant)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and high standards.
  • Lead, train, and manage front and back-of-house staff to ensure excellent service.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Analyze financial reports and propose strategies to increase profitability.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams for a smooth workflow.
  • Organize schedules, manage payroll, and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Plan and execute promotional events or special functions.
  • Report directly to senior management with updates on performance and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role in the food & beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and staff supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in POS systems and MS Office.
  • Degree or diploma in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
