Position description:
- To plan and manage the project for all engineering function
- To be assigned as Proposal Leader, Study Leader, Project Engineering Manager, Field Engineering Manager or Project manager in Engineering Services Project (e.g. Feasibility Study, Blanket Engineering Services, pre-FEED/FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Project, Detailed Engineering Design Project)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all HSE requirement related to the engineering design which has been identified in the contract to be fulfilled under design development
- Defines and manages project deliverables for various phases to establish the project budget and ensures compliance with Project Engineering Execution Plan
- Compliance with requirements of the contract and requirement of the project related to Engineering activities
- Ensure implementation of Project Change management process
- Responsible for the development of the engineering Execution schedule during proposal stage &project execution phase, liaise with procurement & construction teams to ensure overall schedule achieved
- Work together with Lead Discipline Engineers and project scheduling or project planning resources to create the schedule in required format
- Determine manpower loading requirements for engineering resources for the projects
- maintain continuous communication with engineering discipline HODs to resolve resource constraints including mobilization demobilization and feedback on performance assessment
- Supervises work in accordance with the approved schedule
- monitors cost aspects of the project within direct control in order to forecast final costs, identify trends and take action to avoid cost overruns
- Able to gives details explanation if overruns is unavoidable due to unforeseen circumstances
- Contributes to compliance with TPE policies and procedures
- Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives

- Regularly provide clear reports to TPE management
- Accurate, timely & effective progress and performance reporting to Engineering Division Leadership and Operations Directorate as required
- Managing Risk and monitors the closure of all identified risks and opportunities in the assigned project
- Sets clear objectives for the design team including achieving productivity and budget targets
- Ensures design team aware of and complying with clients Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes, and Manages inter-discipline interfaces effectively.
- Procurement/Subcontracts Management, support the technical aspects related to the procurement process throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification and are delivered on time
- Construction Management, Ensures effective communications between the engineering and construction teams
- Interface Management of project both for external and internal in Project which is executed solely by Tripatras or thru partnership (JO and/or Consortium)

- Act as primary technical co-ordination interface with client to ensure that the clients expectations as per stated in the contract are satisfied
- Ensure the project conforms to the clients approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements
- Approving the engineering deliverables as per PKDL
- Review and approving of bill of quantities for procurement in a project and assigned proposal
