Security Engineer

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunication, Informatics Engineering or related field.

• Practical experience or basic understanding of information security principles and best practices.

• Basic knowledge of operating systems (such as Windows, Linux) and computer networks.

• General analytical skills to troubleshoot security problem for various security devices.

• Experience in handling firewalls (Palo or Forti) both installation, configuration of open/close rules/policy, troubleshooting, firewall hardening, analysis of firewall rules/policy optimization

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Have Fortinet/Palo Alto certification is a plu

• Basic system administration skills and understanding of security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, mail gateway, SASE, ZTNA and WAF.Security certifications (CCNA Security, FCA, PCNSA or equivalent associate level certification) will be preferred.
