Strategic Liaison Officer (Mandarin-Speaking)

Job Purpose:To provide strategic support and act as a communication bridge between the Strategic Corporate Planning & Investment Manager and external stakeholders, especially Chinese-speaking partners and investors. The role involves assisting in international coordination, translating business documents and conversations, and facilitating smooth execution of cross-border strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:1. Language & Communication:- Serve as interpreter in Mandarin for meetings, business trips, or correspondence with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.- Translate business documents, reports, and presentations from Mandarin to English/Indonesian and vice versa.2. Stakeholder Liaison:- Support the Manager in maintaining effective communication with potential investors, partners, or consultants from China.- Act as point of contact for follow-up discussions, clarifications, and scheduling with Chinese stakeholders.3. Strategic & Administrative Support:- Assist in the preparation of materials, notes, and reports related to corporate planning, investment proposals, and cross-border initiatives.- Help organize meetings, business visits, and strategic agendas both locally and during international travel.4. Project Coordination:- Support coordination between internal directorates and external Chinese partners in executing investment or business development initiatives.- Track progress of assigned international projects and provide timely updates to the Manager.5. Confidentiality & Professionalism:- Maintain confidentiality on sensitive business and corporate matters.- Uphold a high standard of professionalism when representing the company in front of international parties.

Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree (preferably in Business, International Relations, Communication, or related field).- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) and English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.- Experience working in multinational companies, international liaison, or executive support roles is an advantage.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Detail-oriented, discreet, and professional.- Willing to travel domestically and internationally (particularly to China).Preferred:- Experience in dealing with Chinese investors, business culture, and etiquette.- Background in supporting executives or business development teams.
