Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at Swiss-Bellinn Gajah Mada Medan in Greater Medan. The Marketing Communications Specialist will plan and execute marketing communication activities to promote the hotel’s brand, services, and special offers across digital and traditional channels. Daily tasks include drafting and distributing press releases, writing and editing promotional content, coordinating public relations initiatives, and managing social media and online presence. The role also involves supporting strategic campaigns, preparing marketing materials, liaising with media and partners, and ensuring brand consistency across all communications. The specialist will collaborate closely with the sales, operations, and reservations teams to align messaging with business goals and guest expectations.
Qualifications

• Strong Marketing Communications skills, including campaign planning, content creation, and coordination of promotional activities.
• Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
• Experience preparing and managing Press Releases, including drafting, editing, and coordinating distribution with media contacts.
• Background in Strategic Communications and Public Relations, with skills in media relations, brand Posisiing, and reputation management.
• Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with social media platforms, basic design or layout tools, and office productivity software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience in hospitality or service industries is an advantage, along with familiarity with the Greater Medan market.
