Role Overview:
Step into an exciting opportunity as a Senior sales role for – Fragrances - South East Asia region with our client a leading fragrances, flavours and aroma ingredients Perusahaan. We seek a highly skilled, strategic, and dynamic individual with a passion for shaping market trends and building strong intra-Perusahaan and client partnerships. This pivotal role will place you at the forefront of developing and executing strategic initiatives aimed at driving business growth across the region. You will be responsible for managing key client relationships, executing business strategies, and ensuring the efficient delivery of innovative solutions that meet client needs within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy aligned with the Perusahaan's international growth objectives.
- Drive profitable revenue growth across South East Asia through direct customer acquisition and distributor-led business.
- Identify and convert new B2B opportunities across Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Beranda Care, Fabric Care, Air Care, Industrial Fragrances, and related applications.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
- Identify emerging market trends and develop market entry strategies for untapped territories.
Key Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with existing strategic customers across the region.
- Develop long-term partnerships with multinational, regional, and local manufacturers.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with customers' procurement, marketing, R&D, and product development teams to develop fragrance solutions aligned with market needs.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive account management and technical-commercial support.
Distributor Management
- Manage existing distributor partnerships across the SEA region.
- Evaluate distributor performance through agreed KPIs and business plans.
- Develop joint business development initiatives with distributors to maximize market coverage.
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors in strategic markets to strengthen regional reach.
- Conduct distributor training on products, applications, Posisiing, and sales strategies.
- Ensure distributors effectively represent the Perusahaan's brand and product portfolio.
Market Expansion
- Identify high-growth markets and industry segments across South East Asia.
- Develop market penetration strategies for countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines etc
- Participate in trade exhibitions, customer events, and industry conferences to enhance brand visibility.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities, pricing, product launches, and market developments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Perfumers, Technical, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Coordinate fragrance evaluations, sampling, commercial proposals, and project execution.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns while maintaining high service standards.
Sales Planning & Reporting
- Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and territory business plans.
- Track sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities through CRM and management reporting.
- Monitor profitability, pricing strategies, receivables, and commercial performance.
- Present periodic business reviews and market intelligence to senior leadership
Distributor Management
- Manage existing distributor partnerships across the SEA region.
- Evaluate distributor performance through agreed KPIs and business plans.
- Develop joint business development initiatives with distributors to maximize market coverage.
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors in strategic markets to strengthen regional reach.
- Conduct distributor training on products, applications, Posisiing, and sales strategies.
- Ensure distributors effectively represent the Perusahaan's brand and product portfolio.
Experience
- 6+ years of B2B sales experience within Fragrances
- Proven experience managing South East Asian markets.
- Strong exposure to distributor management and international business development.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers while growing existing business.
- Experience working with fragrance houses or ingredient manufacturers is highly preferred.
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Strong understanding of fragrance applications across Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Beranda Care, Fabric Care, Air Care, and Household products.
- Excellent consultative selling and strategic account management skills.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management capabilities.
